I wrote this song in the valley of our love.. I saw the beast in the valley and then it got darker. We held each others hands so tight, and ran so fast.. almost too fast for my feet to keep up or our minds to comprehend. The hills had eyes and at times, yours started to blend in.. rubbing mine profusely just to see clearer.. just to see the day break. Did your eyes play tricks too? Im quite sure. But I held your hand and you held me close. We prayed for the light but each step got heavier. I wrote this song in the valley of our love.. reminiscing on the light.. the times when we kept each other high.. with hopes to manifest a beautiful future at the top of that mountain we were destined.. with no need to leave its marvelous view.. I wrote this song for you & your & you too.
